Prayer Shawl Ministry Provides Comfort

Ministry looking to expand

Since beginning this ministry we have been able to meet the demands for shawls and blankets with the nimble fingers of our members.  We have donated 550 shawls and blankets.

      We would like to expand this ministry.  If you know of someone who needs a shawl, lap blanket or baby blanket, please contact Paula Bone, Nancy Belcher, Rev. Shariya, or the church office.  There will also be request forms to fill out on the bulletin board.

      If we should get more requests than we can fill, we will take the loved one’s name and get the request filled as quickly as our fingers can get the shawls/blankets made.

      We will bless the shawls and blankets on the second Sunday of each month in the Chapel following the 8 a.m. service.
