10th Annual Sierra Leone Thanksgiving Service

Sunday, October 19th, 4:00 p.m.

Please join members the Sierra Leone Association of Jefferson City as they celebrate their tenth annual Service of Thanksgiving at Grace Church on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at 4:00 p.m.  The Reverend Doctor Nicholas Nicol, a native of Sierra Leone currently residing in Kansas City, will be the guest preacher at the service; the youth choir of the Second Baptist Church of Jefferson City, as well as members of the Sierra Leone Association and a trio from the Grace Church choir will provide musical contributions.  The offering collected at the service will again be used to provide scholarships to needy children in Sierra Leone.  Following the service, all are invited to share in a potluck meal in the parish hall.  Please bring a covered dish or dessert and join in the festivities and fellowship of this annual event.
