The Stewardship Team, as part of their year-round activities, is sponsoring a Lenten Study to aid us in our 2011 Lenten journey.

There will be five study sessions on consecutive Thursday evenings starting on March 17 continuing through April 14.   The sessions will include Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m., supper at 6:00 p.m., and the Lenten Study will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will last for about an hour.  There will be different leaders for each week and each session is designed to be a stand-alone session.  So, if you miss one session, please try to attend other sessions.

The Lenten Study will be based on the book, A Time to Turn: Anglican Readings for Lent and Easter Week, by Christopher L. Webber. The book contains short daily readings (1-2 pages) by prominent Anglican theologians.  Even if you cannot attend the sessions, I encourage you to journey through Lent with the readings in this book.  Signup sheets will be provided for those who wish to have a copy of the book and the books will cost about $10 each.  Grace Church can order these books at the reduced price or the books are available through the normal book outlets.  If you would like a copy of the book, please sign up for them.
