The Community Ministry and Parish Life committees cordially invite all Grace Church members and friends to participate in a Lenten supper, lecture and worship on Thursday, March 22nd to benefit the development of the Salvations Army’s Lohman Prayer Garden, a ministry soon to be undertaken by the Community Ministry Committee.

Following a supper of homemade soups and breads prepared by the Parish Life Committee, Robyn Burnett and Ken Luebbering will present a lecture, “Gospels In Stained Glass: Stained Glass Windows in Missouri Churches.” Their book on this subject will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $15 and Robyn and Ken are donating all proceeds to this Community Ministry project.

The schedule for the evening is:

                        6:00 p.m. – Lenten Supper (Parish Hall)

                        6:45 p.m. – “Gospels in Stained Glass” (Sanctuary)

                        7:30 p.m. – Order of Compline (Sanctuary)

We hope many members of Grace Church can share in this evening and help spread the word to family, friends and co-workers. There is no “admission” to be charged: an opportunity for a free will donation will be available in the sanctuary. “Reservations” are also not required although it would be very helpful for planning if members would indicate their participation on the signup sheet on the bulletin board. If you would copies of fliers to help publicize the event, please contact Marty (635-4405).
